Government forces took over the Burhakaba


The forces of the government of Somalia and Amisom have took over the administration of the Bur-Hakaba town in the Bay region. This town was formerly dictated by Al-Shabab.

The chief of the armed forces of the government of Somalia Gen. Abdikari Yussuf Aden "Dhagabadan" who talked to the government radio said that the armed forces have ensured the siezure and the forces expanded themselves over the roads that enter the town so that they improve the security.

Mr. Dhaga Badan has indicated that the current district is a strategic town for the movement of the Bay, Bakol, Hiran, and Lower Shaballe. He has also said that it will be easier how the Al-Shabab could be removed out of these provinces.

The government forces and the AMISOM have in the last days been carrying on some movements that they were removing the militants out of the district they administered especially that of the Shabelles' provincies and the Bay region.
