The minister of broadcasting of the Puntland state of Somalia Mr. Mohamoud Aideed Dirir has said that they are welcoming a news administration that stands its own feet in the Jubba lands where it will be named Jubbaland. He said Puntland is withstanding the administration at the Kismayu in the Lower Jubba.

Also, Mohamdoud Dirir has called for the representatives of the federal of Somalia to support so much in their relationship with the Jubba regions and the Gedo., and this was meant that it is written inside the constitution of Somalia that the government should help the sub regional administrations in the country, he said.
 
The prime minister of Somalia Abdi Farah Shirdon Saa'ed has previously opposed the establishment of the Jubba and Gedo regions where the conference is currently going on in Kismayu town.
