Attending the funeral of the late loved comedian a friend of him Abdi Ajakis told the reporters that his collogue has gone at the time of goodness.
“His death is misery but for some time we will be remembered for him, as a comedian Abdi has a closer friend for Abdi Ajakis, and other group of journalists working in the capital of Mogadishu, he was known of more ambitious for better future, often mood, he was really very fanny person and a fame comedian, we will not be forgetting his legacy, said Abdi speaking to reporters at the burial cemetery in Mogadishu’s Afizone area,
also the director of radio Kulmiye Osman Abdullah Guure has sent his sympathy to the family and friends he left behind, Guure says the journalists must take their guns, to protect themselves,
“We believe that our college has gone, as everyone will be going for some time, but what is the sadness is really the killing of such peaceful person,
I strongly encourage the journalists to take their guns and not consider any one protecting them; it is time to defend ourselves he said. To be a journalist in Somalia is very dangerous with more than 8 journalists being killed this year alone according to the committee to protect the Journalists (CPJ).
